A COUNCILLOR faces a disciplinary hearing tomorrow (Tuesday, 06 March) after a group of young Asian women complained she had racially insulted them.

Coun Gail Kenney, who represents Sawston on Cambridgeshire County Council, is alleged to have told one girl she only wore the hijab - a neck and head covering - because it suited her, and said a youth worker should intervene before another member of the group was "married off to some illiterate man from back home".

It is also claimed she made distasteful comments about Islamic terrorists.

"Distasteful comments" about Islamic terrorists, what other kind of comment can there be about such people?

I suppose we are all supposed to go around saying "oh yes we know him, he is a nice man who blows people up, its our turn next Thursday"

As for the Hijab comments the councillor is alleged to have made well personally I think the councillor hit the nail on the head, the councillor should have added "then you will bring him back here and have dozens of kids that we will have to pay for whilst your terrorist friends
blow us all up.

Meanwhile in Oxford

Do you remenber the Oxford Don who was villified by the Student group "STAR" (Student action for Refugees) because he worked with Migration Watch, well here is an update on that situation, this student group is funded to the tune of £500,000 by the lottery and DfES

From the article:

"What gives this worrying affair an added piquancy is the fact that Star receives generous public funding. Last year it pocketed £428,498 from the Big Lottery Fund and £151,442 came from the Department for Education and Skills under its national voluntary youth organisation grant scheme - i.e. the taxpayer. If these young zealots are determined to make life unpleasant for Prof Coleman, nothing, we suspect, is going to stop them."

With reference to this group, does "Seig Heil" ring a bell with anyone
