The Muslim Council of Britain has called for the British Hindu and Sikh councils to substantiate claims of alleged forced conversions of Hindu and Sikh girls to Christianity. Executive members of the foremost Muslim organisation in the UK have asked their counterparts in the Hindu and Sikh councils to publicise their findings and immediately hand over all evidence to the police authorities.

‘These allegations are not new. What is deeply worrying however is the continuing absence of any actual substantive evidence to corroborate them. We believe it is high time that the plaintiffs supply their evidence to the police and relevant authorities,' said Secretary-General of the MCBDr Muhammad Abdul Bari.

'If these reports prove to be true the MCB would unreservedly condemn the practice of forced conversion as it goes against a fundamental tenet of our religion - there is no compulsion in matters of faith.'

Dr Abdul Bari said, ‘The MCB is fully prepared to co-operate with its Hindu and Sikh counterparts and the police to get to the root of these allegations and to ensure that the religious rights, freedom and dignity of all are respected. In the absence of any hard evidence of forced conversions though, many British Muslims will suspect that this is an underhand attempt to smear them. People from all faiths and none should have the right to convert to other faiths if they so wish.'

What a turn up for the book, "forced conversion to Christianity", this is silly, this is game play, we all know that it is in any Muslims interest to convert an infidel or child of the book to Islam because then he will get his 72 virgins etc.

The recent complaints of intimidation and violence being used on non Muslim girls in order to make them convert to Islam have been verified and as I have said is completely in charachter for Muslims.

The MCB, in my view, because they are no longer the governments favourite are looking fo allies and attempting to create unrest and suspicion between groups of people where there has been no division or fear.

Divide and conquer would appear to be the strategy the MCB is employing,
Dr Bari knows this and he knows it will be spotted hence his comment about smearing the Muslim community.

No doubt he will now respond by saying "I told you so" but we all know this is "Game theory"

For those who may not be aware of "game theory", it is the method used during the  Cold war to disredit the Soviet Bloc.

I do not think for one minuite that the MCB are aware of  Game theory, but non the less that is what they are using, I will put up a post about it later on, suffice it to say for now that we can play Game theory as well, probably better.

Mother of soldiers to be deported

Lawyers are trying to prevent the deportation from the UK of an Iraq war veteran's mother.

They are seeking to postpone the removal of Joy Dean Bowman, who is under threat of deportation despite having two sons who served in the British Army and a daughter studying for GCSEs.

    More here...
    • Soldiers cleared of Iraqi war crimes
    • Anger of the maimed Iraq heroes forced to pay for medical care

Unless the courts grant a reprieve, she and her 15-year-old daughter will be sent back to Jamaica.

Mrs Bowman, now living in Newcastle, came to Britain six years ago with her three children after her husband threatened to kill her.

Her sons, Leven, 28, and Damian, 24, joined the Army, the eldest seeing active duty in Basra. Both are entitled to remain. Mrs Bowman's lawyers are hopeful the deportation order can be suspended.

Its a pity that the family is not Muslim, or else they would have been granted a residence permit.

Some Muslim workers at Target refuse to handle pork
Submitted by Chris Serres, Star Tribune Staff Writer on Mon, 03/12/2007 - 5:21pm.How would you feel if a cashier made you swipe your own groceries because of his/her religious beliefs? If you have an opinion on the matter, feel free to call me at (612) 673-4308.I'm a reporter who covers Target for the Star Tribune and the other day, I got a call from someone who said that an employee at the Target store downtown refused to run his bacon through a scanning machine. He was mighty upset, arguing that the cashier had "no right to work as a cashier at Target" if she wasn't prepared to swipe his groceries. But he was a little vague on the details, so I decided to check it out myself. At the Target store on E. Lake Street, a cashier wearing a hijab looked uncomfortable when I showed up at the cash register with a frozen pepperoni pizza. She immediately called for help, and another employee rang up the pizza and placed it in the basket.I asked her if it was because she was Muslim, and she nodded her head. "I can't even touch it," she said. The E. Lake store has only has a few aisles of food. How do Muslim workers adapt in Super Targets where there are full-fledged grocery sections? And is anyone other than this caller bothered by this? Are there some Muslim workers at Target who feel they have to suppress their beliefs to avoid conflicts?

If they're that hot 'n bothered about it, they should either wear gloves or find a job somewhere else (like Saudi). As far as trying to get Hindus and Sikhs to support their ridiculous claims--it seems to me that the Hindus and Sikhs would be complaining more about forced conversions of their daughters to Islam.
