A German Judge Cites Koran in Divorce Case

He beat her and threatened her with murder. But because husband and wife were both from Morocco, a German divorce court judge saw no cause for alarm. It's a religion thing, she argued.
The case seems simply too strange to be true. A 26-year-old mother of two wanted to free herself from what had become a miserable and abusive marriage. The police had even been called to their apartment to separate the two -- both of Moroccan origin -- after her husband got violent in May 2006. The husband was forced to move out, but the terror continued: Even after they separated, the spurned husband threatened to kill his wife.

What on earth is the legal system in Germany doing, do they not realize that it is presicely this kind of behaviour that lets in Sharia law.
the article goes on to say:

I find this situation utterly unbelievable, but it has happened, surely the German Federal law overides the Koran?, this Judge has placed federal law below that of Sharia law, this is a very dangerous precident to set

I just wanted to say that this field is very light and a strain on my eyes to read. Is anyone else finding a problem with it? Gandalf, could you somehow or soon darken the letters as the old sight was much easier to read.

One can see the decision by this judge in several ways
1. By being so obtuse, the judge opens up the whole can of worms that is sharia
2. It warns Muslim women that they have no hope here in the West, and thus increases their vulnerability.
3. It increases the probabailty of more Muslim women being beaten and murdered by their husbands, brothers, fathers or even their mothers, thus opening that sharia can of worms for the further education of the public.
4. It enlightens the public that their is no way but that of separaion of Muslims from the West.

No surprises here:
Abu Bakr Bashir, the mastermind behind Bali one and two was out out in no time. Amrozi, brother Ali Imron, Samudra and Mukhlas have been sentenced to death but none of them has been executed. Instead, at least one of them was seen downtown Jakarta a while ago having Coffee at Starbucks. Will they ever be executed? Unlikely.
Islamic law mandates a lesser penalty for the killing of a non-Muslim than for the killing of a Muslim. A Christian who took revenge on some Muslims in Sulawesi recently was executed immediately. Westerners, Australians, caught with even minuscule amounts of drugs are dragged through the courts, which are no more than a corrupt circus designed to clean them out, totally. Excessive prison terms and execution await those who are naive or foolish enough to engage in the drug trade. What strikes me though is that our government officials talk as if we had to respect ‘their laws’ when we see such corruption and contempt not only for their own laws, but even more so for ours.

Warner warns us that we must learn the nature of Islam to survive as a civilisation. In effect, he thinks there is no other way but that we be in a continuous state of war within the West, till the end of the world.
There is the much simpler way he does not consider, and that we admit that there can be no peaceful existence with Islam, and the best way forward for us to regain our internal peace, is to repatriate Muslims in as humane manner as possible.

This is yet another very very sad day.
And, again, we ssee that the state apparatus in Europe (a judge this time, on other occassions it is the police, the media, the governments, etc.) shows its dhimmitude.
I hope we don't have to take this into our own hands, yet it looks increasingly likely.

A 17-year-old woman was subjected to a terrifying sex attack in the street by two men who leapt out of a car.
While one man held the victim, another indecently assaulted her during the attack in Scraptoft Lane, Leicester.It is the third incident in six days in which women walking alone have been targeted by men in cars.It follows two attempted abductions in the city centre in which women were chased down the street or nearly forced into a car.In two of the three incidents, the victim has been able to describe a silver hatchback car, similar to a Vauxhall Corsa.Officers said they are aware of the "similarities between the attacks" but so far have not linked them.They have urged women to be on their guard and to not walk alone, especially at night.Pc Jason Edwards, of Hamilton police, said: "We don't want to scare women unnecessarily, but taking extra care could reduce your chances of being a victim of crime."We would urge women not to walk alone, particularly at night. If you have no other alternative, try to stick to busy, well-lit areas and carry a personal attack alarm."If possible, get someone to meet you or let a friend or family member know the route you are taking, and how long you expect to be out."In the latest attack, on Friday, the victim was walking towards Uppingham Road when she noticed a silver car driving slowly alongside her with four Asian men inside.As she began walking faster, she heard a car door open and close.She was then grabbed by a man, who held her while a second man indecently assaulted her. She managed to break free and ran off.The attack happened at 11pm between Peters Drive and Crofters Drive.The attackers were aged between 25 and 35. One had short, dark, spiky hair and wore a black T-shirt. The driver wore a light-coloured or white shirt.Four days earlier, a 19-year-old was walking along Millstone Lane at 12.30pm when she was approached by two men in a silver Vauxhall Corsa.The front seat passenger tried to persuade her to get into the car.When she refused, he chased her down Horsefair Street, but she managed to escape.The man who chased her was Asian, aged 23 to 25, about 5ft 7ins and of large build. The second man was of Eastern European appearance, slim and about 6ft.The previous day, another woman was attacked and almost bundled into a car by two men before escaping.The 18-year-old was approached by two men in a car as she walked along Short Street, near St Margaret's Bus Station, at about 6.45pm.The men tried to force her into the vehicle, but she broke free and ran to Mansfield Street, where a member of the public came to her rescue.The attacker was describ
