The teacher probably did no more than place the book on the floor.
I do actually own a koran. I tried to read it but never got beyond the sixth page, it's such a load of turgid crap. Nowadays I use it as a beer mat and something to wipe my greasy fingers on after I've eaten a bacon butty.
There are a few pages missing when I ran out of toilet paper, but the koran isn't like the real thing - it's neither soft nor absorbent and tends to block the pipe.

This was a teacher for Gods sake, someone who wanted to educate these primitive people. You have to read it just for a good laugh! They talk about the 'vibrancy', obviously it was so boring before the islamic terrorists started and all those rapes etc.
They also go on and on about the different foods they can buy, but that hardly compensates us for the problems does it now? The BBC has been accused of "shameful hypocrisy" over its decision to spend £200,000 blocking a freedom of information request about its reporting in the Middle East.
The corporation, which has itself made extensive use of FOI requests in its journalism, is refusing to release papers about an internal inquiry into whether its reporting has been biased towards Palestine.
BBC chiefs have been accused of wasting thousands of pounds of licence fee payers money trying to cover-up the findings of the so called Balen Report into its journalism in the region, despite the fact that the corporation is funded by the British public.
The corporation is fighting a landmark High Court action, which starts next week, in a bid to prevent the public finding out what is in the review, which is believed to be critical of the BBC's coverage in the region.
BBC bosses have faced repeated claims that is coverage of the Arab-Israeli conflict has been skewed by a pro-Palestianian bias.
The corporation famously came under fire after middle-east correspondent Barbara Plett revealed that she had cried at the death of Yasser Arafat in 2004.

That report found said that there was "no deliberate or systematic bias" in the BBC's reporting, but said its approach had at times been "inconsistent" and was "not always providing a complete picture" which had been "misleading".

Let me repeat some of that, because it bears repeating, and probably more than once:

No. It's not unfair at all. What's unfair is a demand for unearned deference and a unilateral exemption from the testing of ideas. What's unfair, indeed despicable, are efforts by Islamic groups to cow dissent and stifle criticism with a well-rehearsed pantomime of victimhood and the projection of false motives. Pretending to be hurt in order to assert one's will over others, even violently, or to gain unreciprocated favours, or to exert control over what others may say and think, is cowardly and malign. Let me say that once again. It's cowardly and malign.

BBC executives have been forced to admit what critics have known for years - that the corporation is institutionally biased.
The revelation came after details of an 'impartiality' summit called by its chairman, Michael Grade, were leaked.
Senior figures admitted that the BBC is guilty of promoting Left-wing views and an anti-Christian sentiment.
They also said that as an organisation it was disproportionately over-represented by gays and ethnic minorities.
It was also suggested that the Beeb is guilty of political correctness, the overt promotion of multiculturalism and of being anti-American and against the countryside.
During the meeting, hosted by Sue Lawley, executives admitted they would happily broadcast the image of a Bible being thrown away - but would not do the same for the Koran.

DP111, all the mainstream media (print, TV, the lot) are biased. If they were not we would probably not be in the mess that we are in now. Brainwashing the masses is a big part of this problem, the mainstream media brainwash them from a very young age and keep up the pressure right through. People are not only misinformed as to the facts, but they are brainwashed too. You must read up about the Fabians and their plans to brainwash the public to overturn Western culture. I do not know if they are responsible, but their plans all came true and in the manner that they hoped it would. Also Gramsci and the boys had the idea. It was all written down long before it happened.
Orwell wrote the novel, and he worked for the BBC and was in the Fabian Society, he knew them from the inside.

An internal British Broadcasting Corporation memo reveals senior figures admitted the national news agency was guilty of promoting left-wing views and anti-Christian sentiment.
News of the memo, reported by British media, comes as the BBC continues to struggle against claims of biased reporting on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and distorted coverage of the global fight against terror, reports the Israeli YnetNews.com.
The admissions of bias were made at a recent "impartiality" summit the BBC held. Most executives admitted the corporation's representation of homosexuals and ethnic minorities was unbalanced and disproportionate, YnetNews.com said. Thanks for reminding me of Gramsci. I'm aware of the Fabian society as well as the Marxist theoretician Gramsci. An LGfer repeatedly calls the BBC a Gramscian whore. I'm afraid though that none of these two would have purchase in the UK, were it not for the BBC.
The BBC has continually taken the part of our enemies, clothing it under the guise of tolerance. I can think of no time in history when a publically funded organisation, has so actively engaged in aiding the enemies of Britain, its culture, heritage, its only religion, as well as Western civilisation.

Bias at the BBC when dealing on matters in the Middle East, has now become an art form. It is perpetrated in various ways, some subtle, others quite blatant
1. Omission of facts as in the so called 'Jenin massacre'.
2. Highly tendentious camera angles to prove a point. Re: 'Jenin massacre'.
3. A derogatory tone when interviewing Israeli politicians while a deferential tone for Palestinians. Orla Guerin's face almost distorts with contempt for Israel.
4. Making enormous publicity of alleged Israeli misdeeds, but when proved wrong, the retraction aired in as inconspicuous manner as possible or none at all.
This open duplicity, masquerading as honest and unbiased journalism is good enough now, to be a subject for an educational course on Orwellian journalism.
The BBC is biased not just in the politico-cultural sense but also in a religious bigotry sense. For instance it never ceases to amaze me of their reverence for Islamic fanatics and their hatred of Israel. This is so pronounced that it amounts to racism.
The BBC can be counted on to support any thesis that will damage the West. Its blind acceptance of the man-made reason for "global warming" amounts to being a matter of faith. As none of the BBC reporters or even its science journalists are capable of understanding thermal processes, there is no reason why their opinions should matter.
There is hardly any doubt that the BBC is dominated by the Left-Liberal culture. This bias is not just political but affects all its output, including theatrical productions of the classics. Its disdain of any other view is exceeded only by its ignorance.

Sex attack on student walking home
A TEENAGE student was attacked and indecently assaulted as she walked home after a night out in Southampton.
The 19-year-old was walking along Harrison Cut off St Mary Street when a man spoke to her briefly, grabbed her and then sexually assaulted her.
The attacker, described as an Asian in his 40s with a large white beard and wearing a turban, then walked off in the direction of St Mary Street.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the attack which happened between midnight and 1am on Thursday.

AN ELDERLY widow was left crying in the street after a youth shoved her to the ground and stole her handbag.
Joyce Bushell, 80, told the Recorder she went berserk after the teenager grabbed the bag, containing a treasured picture of her late husband Fred, from her shoulder.
The incident took place at 11.30am. The attacker is described as Asian, aged about 17, 5ft 11in tall, with brown eyes and wearing smart clothes with a black or blue cap with a white stripe on the front.

A RAPIST who attacked a woman after she got off a bus with him has been told to expect a lengthy jail term.
Bhupendra Chavda, of Brewery Close, Wembley, was found guilty at St Albans Crown Court last Friday of committing oral rape.
He forced the woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, to perform a sex act on him in an alleyway in Bushey.
The jury heard, in a trial that ended on Friday, that Chavda carried out the attack on the woman on Friday, July 28, last year after getting off at the same bus stop in the village that night.
He followed her as she alighted at the bus stop in High Road and went into an alley near St Hilda's School.
The man then forced the woman into a concealed part of an adjoining alleyway just off Baird Close where he sexually assaulted her.

Asylum seeker assaulted young girl
An asylum seeker who sexually assaulted a 12-year-old girl in a park has been jailed.
Mobarak Hussein approached the girl and her five-year-old sister in August 2005 on Southsea seafront and asked the 12-year-old to get in his car.
When she refused he followed the two youngsters into a nearby park and sat on a bench next to the 12-year-old.
The 30-year-old pervert then indecently assaulted the girl.
The girl told her mother, who reported the incident to police and Hussein was arrested soon after.
At Portsmouth Crown Court Hussein, who comes from Sudan, was jailed for 18 months.
Judge Gareth Cowling praised the actions of the girl's mother and recommended Hussein should be deported after he has served his sentence
A final decision will be taken by the Home Office when he is released.
Hussein, of Tredegar Road, Southsea, was found guilty of a sexual assault on a child under 13. He had denied the charge.
He will remain on the sex offenders' register for 10 years and has been disqualified from working with children.

1. A popular question is "why islam calls for death of Islamic critics and apostates". Insist that their info is false. Quote aya "to you your religion and to me my religion".
2. To answer "Islam spread with sword", say that it is a big lie spread by the jews and hindus and that quran clearly says " there is no compulsion in religion".
3. If some one quotes violent ayas from Koran, accuse him of quoting ayas in bits and pieces and cherry picking .
4. If he then quotes full ayas and ayas before and after, than insist that the translation is wrong.
5. If he brings ten different translations than say correct meanings can be understood only by reading Quran in Arabic.
6. If he happens to be well versed in Arabic language than insist that those ayas don't mean what they appear to mean as they have allegorical meanings.
7. If he is adamant, than say you cannot understand those ayas and it's context without reading hadith and sira.
8.. If he shows up with the hadiths and siras in hand and quotes the context of the violent ayas by referring to hadiths of prophet's rapes, robberies , assassinations and genocides then insist that "all hadiths and siras are heresay and are false, and only truth is in quran.
9. If he says Quran is a man made document and wants proof of it's divinity then refer to the sciences in Quran and the book written by Dr. Bucaile confirming the sciences in our holy book. You can also quote that Mahatama Gandhi read Quran daily and also spoke highly of it.
10. If he says that Bucaile was on Saudi payroll and that nor he nor Gandhi ever changed their religions and that Bucaile was challenged and proven wrong by many experts then challenge him to ask his experts to debate islamists like Zakir Naik..
11. If the pests still hangs around then change the topic and find faults in other religions and their books.

Family's fury as sentence slashed

The family of a man who tumbled to his death from a taxi have condemned an appeal court decision to slash the jail sentence of the driver responsible.
Iain Cain, 31, sustained fatal head injuries when he fell out of Nazam Khan's cab in Halifax Road, Cullingworth, in October 2005.
Khan zig-zagged along the road with the passenger door open at speeds of up to 50mph after a row over the fare, before leaving Mr Cain, of Lodge Street, Cullingworth, for dead.
Jailing him for seven years last July for causing death by dangerous driving, Judge Jonathan Durham Hall QC described Khan, 56, of Ellercroft Terrace, Lidget Green, Bradford, as "cowardly".
But last week the Court of Appeal in London reduced his sentence to five years and halved his driving ban to five years. It dismissed his appeal against conviction.
Mr Cain's sister, Michelle, 35, said she was appalled at the appeal court's decision.
Michelle, of Wibsey, Bradford, said: "The original sentence was not excessive. He took someone's life and just left him to die in the road. Who knows what would have happened if he had phoned for an ambulance straight away.
"But he tried to the end to worm his way out of it. He doesn't deserve any leniency.

He contends that both sides were aware of this as some kind of tacit deal. "That was an unspoken deal, and as a result, what tended to happen is the British government lost count of how many people were going abroad and getting trained and coming back and going into operational mode as sleeper cells," Butt tells Simon.
