WHAT A SORRY "STATE" WE HAVE BECOME

Britain has become a very sorry state, we as a nation are being humiliated on a daily basis by a bunch of people who wish to see this country and its people reduced to a subserviant mass of spineless sheep.

Blair is warning of "tougher decisions" to come I do not know what this means, the EU has shown typical restraint in its condemnation of this kidnapping.

Robert Fisk writes:

Our Marines are hostages. Two more were shown on Iranian TV. Petrol bombs burst behind the walls of the British embassy in Tehran. But it's definitely not the war on terror. It's the war of humiliation. The humiliation of Britain, the humiliation of Tony Blair, of the British military, of George Bush and the whole Iraqi shooting match. And the master of humiliation--even if Tony Blair doesn't realise it--is Iran, a nation which feels itself forever humiliated by the West."

"The Union Jack still flies on their rubber boat--but the Iranian banner floats above it. No one has yet explained, I notice, why our boys and girls in blue carry rifles on their sailing adventures if their duty is to hand them over when attacked. Are we actually trying to supply the Revolutionary Guards with more weapons?."

                               ------------------"-------------------

Our humiliation is almost complete, I am certain Blair will apologise to the Camel jockeys and in doing so will give them political creedence far above their actual status.

Such an apology will also embolden all Muslims who live in the UK and we can expect more demands from these people at the expense of our values and freedoms.

    18-year-old woman raped in car

A teenager has been raped after mistakenly getting into a car she thought was a taxi in Ashton, Greater Manchester.
The 18-year-old victim had been out drinking with friends until the early hours of Sunday morning when she hailed a maroon-coloured car while walking home along Lord Sheldon Way.

She was driven to an area she did not know before the attacker climbed into the back seat and raped her.

He then drove her back to Lord Sheldon Way where he let her out of the car.

The man is described as Asian, aged in his 40s, of stocky build with a full beard and short dark hair. He was wearing a red hooded sleeveless top over a grey long sleeved top, blue jeans and trainers.

I just watched the BBC 6 o'clock news (painful!). Not a single word on the murder (or the rapes etc.). They did manage some time on the ipod music story and some other rubbish though.
It looks like this murder is going to be another secret one.

    Drugs gang jailed
    By Paul Keaveny

DRUG pushers who touted for business by giving out leaflets with their gang's name and phone number have been jailed for a total of more than 15 years.
Undercover police had carried out an anti-drugs operation in Bolton last year and were handed a note bearing the name "Choppa" and a mobile phone number.
They made contact with the Choppa gang and were sold heroin and crack cocaine on at least 19 occasions, paying up to £80 each time for the drugs.
The operation led to the arrest of gang members, including its leaders, brothers Sarfraz and Saqib Hussain, aged 28 and 26, of Gilnow Road, Deane
The pair had used Yasir Mehmood, aged 21, of Andrew Street, Bury, and Asif Abbas, aged 22, of Parkhills Close, Bury, as their drivers, Bolton Crown Court heard.
All four pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
Sentencing them, Judge Stephen Everett said: "An ever increasing circle of evil follows the use and supply of heroin and crack cocaine. All it does is cause misery and degradation."
And today, Supt Andy Durkin, of Bolton police, said: "It is a relentless quest, ridding the streets of Bolton of the scurge of drugs. The judge has sent a strong message that it will not be tolerated."
Adrian Dugdale, prosecuting, told the court how police carried out the anti-drugs operation between July and November last year.
They made contact with the Choppa gang between September and November.
The initial deals were carried out by Saqib Hussain behind an old church in High Street, Great Lever. He used Mehmood as his driver on three occasions.
Then, on November 2, Sarfraz Hussain carried out the deal.
"The officers asked why it was not Saqib. Sarfraz replied that they would be dealing with the original Choppa from now on'," said Mr Dugdale.
The following day, other officers saw Sarfraz in a car with Abbas in Central Street, Bolton. Both were arrested and searched for drugs.
Sarfraz was hiding seven wraps of heroin in his socks. Further wraps were found by a sniffer dog, hidden in a cigarette packet in the car.
The homes of the four men were raided on December 13 as part of the Operation Hercules and a machete, a samurai sword, three balaclavas, digital weighing scales and £1,400 was seized at the home of the Husain brothers.
Saqib Hussain was caught dealing on 16 separate occasions and was sentenced to five years for the drug-dealing offences.
He was also given an extra 12 months for driving while disqualified and perverting the course of justice for giving false details to police, resulting in a total of six years in jail.
Sarfraz Hussain was also sentenced to six years in jail for three drug deals carried out while on bail for a separate drug-dealing offence.
Mehmood was sentenced to two years for being involved in drug dealing on three separat

Prison for man who groped shopworker

    By Claire Gallagher

A MAN from Pakistan who sexually touched a Chester shopworker has been jailed.

Abid Hussain, 27, appeared before Chester, Ellesmere Port and Neston magistrates, where he was helped by an interpreter.

He denied sexual touching of a girl over 13 at a pre-trial review on February 2, but later changed his plea to guilty.

The court heard Hussain, who has a visa to stay in Britain for another year and has been living in Nelson Road, Birmingham, went into the New Look store, Foregate Street, one afternoon during the Christmas period and approached a sales assistant to ask for help in finding a bra to take home to Pakistan.

Sue Gibson, prosecuting, said: "After asking for help from the worker she felt him touch her left buttock.

"She moved away, believing it to have been an accident, but 15-20 seconds later Hussain moved closer and grabbed her left buttock and squeezed it.

"She moved away again, but he leaned forward and touched her left breast with his hand.

"She felt disturbed and left to get help, but he followed her around the store, touching her right buttock."

The court heard Hussain followed her into the ladies' changing rooms and the manager then intervened.

"The victim was shocked and frightened and the manager asked him to leave."

Security workers then apprehended Hussain and he was later arrested.

At first he denied touching her in any sexual way, said Miss Gibson, but later admitted having done so.

Kulbir Kumar, defending, said: "He is very embarrassed
about his behaviour. He did not want to put the young girl through the ordeal of a trial.

"He gave in to his basic instincts in a rash decison and he understands custody is a real prospect.

"He accepts the prosecution case and is very sorry. His wife and family are waiting for him back in Pakistan, and his family have been very shocked about this."

District Judge Bridgid Knight sentenced Hussain to 19 weeks in prison, although half the sentence will be suspended. When out of prison Hussain must put his name on the Sex Offenders Register.

Judge Knight told Hussain: "What happened on this day is a very serious matter indeed.

"You sexually assaulted a 19-year-old girl at her place of work during the course of work.

"She was shocked and frightened by your behaviour."

She added: "You are very fortunate that I inherit this case with my sentencing powers somewhat restricted."

This is a very strange article by Robert Fisk. It can be read as anger at PM Blair, as having taken a weak and appeasing attitude to the continuing humilation of 15 Royal marines abducted by Iran. This puts Robert Fisk among us. I though question such a reading of this article.

Robert Fisk is an Arabists Arabist. In fact he has gone native. His whole carreer has been taken up criticising the West and Israel, particularly Israel, as it tries to defend itself from murderuous Arab-Muslim Jihadi suicide bombers, all the time providing exvuses for the murderous fanatics of Islam. I take this article not so much as righteous anger at what has happened to the 15 Marines, but another tactic which he can use to criticise PM Blair and Pres Bush. Fisk (and hence the new phrase "to fisk", ie to take apart the essays of Fisk by fact checking and showing his illogic). His main sympathy is with the Arabs, and in this case the Iraqi Sunni Arabs.

AN OLDHAM food store owner was discovered slitting chickens' throats on a farm in filthy conditions.
Valli Moosa Yusuf was being observed by food safety officers who had secretly followed him to the Yorkshire farm from his shop, Haji Food Store on Featherstall Road North, Oldham.
A court hearing heard that officers, from Oldham and Calderdale councils, found the farm to be dirty and poorly maintained and there were bags of blood, feathers and excrement lying open on the ground together with filthy poultry crates. Feral cats were seen feeding from the discarded carcasses.
