Universities 'targeted' by Islamic extremists

Last Updated: 6:33am BST 17/04/2007

British universities will be warned this week that they are being targeted by Islamic extremist groups looking for recruits.

A conference of chief security officers will hear that religious radicals remain active on campuses and have infiltrated at least 20 institutions.

Prof Anthony Glees, of the Centre for Intelligence and Security Studies at Brunel University, will say the threat must be "urgently addressed".

class="story2">The Government has issued guidance to universities over how to deal with the threat. Bill Rammell, the higher education minister, said it was "real, but not widespread."

But Prof Glees will tell a conference of the Association of University Chief Security Officers in Exeter that there is a danger of complacency.

"We must accept this problem is widespread and underestimated,'' he will say. "Unless decisive action against campus extremism is taken, the security situation in the UK can only deteriorate."

Prof Glees believes that al-Muhajiroun, the disbanded extremist group, has infiltrated universities, and followers of Omar Bakri Mohammed, its founder, are still operational in several campuses. Another radical group, Hizb ut Tahrir, is also active in universities and colleges.

..............................................................................................................................................

I have been saying for a long time now that the education system in the UK is under attack from within and without.

Professor Glees is right to highlight this appalling situation. Recently we have had confirmed reports of Muslims pressuring young girls at University to convert to Islam, so much so that these young people had to give up their studies to escape this forced indoctrination.

Hizb ut Tahir is supposed to be a banned organization in the UK, ha, so much for the efficacy of a ban, they are still up and running, I have placed a link to their website just to prove it.

The action that the Education Authorities must take is to remove all courses that relate to Islamic studies, remove all student groups that are purely Islamic and vet all Muslims who wish to go to University.

Security and safety of the student must come first, they have a right to attend University without being harrassed by mad Muslims

Sadly the sudent who caused uproar amongst Islamic students at Cambridge University has  made a grovelling apology(probably under instruction or fear of being kicked out

Thank you anonymous

Islam cartoon student apologises for offence

A CAMBRIDGE University student who sparked a huge row when he published anti- Islamic material has issued a grovelling apology.

The 19-year-old second-year Clare College student went into hiding after he printed a cartoon and material satirising religion in college magazine Clareification.

    Quick flick through todays mail......
wizz past the article about the pakis in Bradford jailed for laundering hunreds of millions of pounds, glance at the story re the muslim bitch lawyer lying through her teeth and breaking all sorts of laws in an attempt to release the failed bombers back into society, quick look at some bloke called mohammed something whose property was used as a cannabis farm....
and I come accross the real gem.
Polygamous muslims with up to 4 wives can claim all sorts of benefits including job seekers allowance, income support etc etc for all their dependants.
There are just 2 reasons that allow outrages like this to happen, and only 2.
1)The marxists that run the country want this to happen (5 votes are better than 2)
    2) We allow this to happen.
    We must take action!!!!!
The least everyone should do is write to their MP and complain like mad.
    Its dead easy...
    go to
    www.writetothem.com
and your MP will recieve your complaint.
Dont sit around moaning or praying for a military coup, do something now!

I think that the 1918 law that gives Commonwealth citizens full voting rights should be repealed, that is almost as bad, it seems that anyone from Pakistan can come over and vote, we might as well set up bloody voting boths in Islamabad and Karachi.

    Britain is a bloody madhouse.

By the way I have removed the BBC website from my favourites and have vowed neever to visit there again.

I will be in London over at the end of the week and if I have the chance I will buy a rotten tomato and throw it the BBC HQ, bloddy traitors, I love that comment by them to the Islamics in Gaza, "we are not your enemy", twats, no just bloody useful idiots...

I think it was Charles on LGF predicted that before long some moonbat lefty journo would blame the murder of the BBC reporter on the Jews.
Sure enough it happened, Alan someone or other, used to be in charge of the BBC,apparently. He put the Zionists in the frame. Liberalism is a mental illness.

Urban11, I saw that and thought perhaps Charles was beng a bit extreme, but amazingly he was right, the twisted logic of these so called impartial journalists is just amazing.

The name of the journalist is Alan Harte, most probably someone senior at the NUJ, Nation Union of Jokers... This person is the sort of person that I would almost like to see kidnapped by AQ.

At least Mr Johnstone tried at times to peep into the darker side of the Palis, which is why he was executed I would think. It would not surprise me if the BBC lefties psoted him to Gaza as he was a bit to the right of them?
