JIHAD DOCTORS LURK IN NHS

"MORE terrorist sleeper cells of foreign doctors are ready to strike in Britain, MI5 feared last night.
Intelligence chiefs believe Al Qaeda warlords have ordered qualified physicians to settle here for years before giving orders to attack. As trusted employees of the NHS, the doctors will have assimilated themselves into British society.
...“There are genuine concerns that the cell which was broken up in the past few days was not a one-off and that there are others out there plotting mass murder,” a security source said. “The fears are not confined to the health service.
Other professions, such as lawyers, accountants or government workers, could have within their ranks sleeper cells bent on waging a terrorist campaign.
“There is now a real worry that terrorists are in the UK just waiting for an order to bring death and destruction on a massive scale and we are engaged in a hunt to find them.
“The worrying truth is, we don’t know how many are out there. Because doctors have sworn the Hippocratic oath to save lives they are among the last people you would expect to be involved in terrorism.”
Meanwhile, it emerged a top Al Qaeda operative in Baghdad handpicked the doctors who are alleged to have plotted to bring car bomb carnage to Britain at the weekend.
...Of 240,000 doctors registered in Britain around 80,000 gained their qualifications overseas and more than 6,000 have come here from the Middle East.
Almost one third, 1,985, were trained in Iraq. They included suspect Doctor Bilal Abdulla, 27, who qualified in Baghdad in 2004 and registered in Britain two years later.
A further 184 are from Jordan, many of Palestinian origin like Dr Asha who was detained in a dramatic swoop on the M6 motorway in Cheshire on Saturday night.
All foreign doctors are subject to strict checks on their qualifications but they would not spot undisclosed criminal convictions or terrorist leanings.
Experts believe many will have gone through only a cursory examination because of the strong demand for fully trained doctors.......
"Last night extremist cleric Anjem Choudary insisted the foiled terror attacks were “completely justified”.
British-based Choudary, former right-hand man of hate preacher Omar Bakri Moh-ammed, boasted there will be more attacks. He said: “There are many in Britain who take their ideology from Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda and are ready to carry out many more attacks.”

"Terrorists are criminals"....bit of an understatement..criminals are robbers, thieves etc. Terrorists, murderers, paedophiles are a different class of low life.

Here's our first nominee for the Harold Shipman (pbuh) Award:
"A doctor has admitted killing at least 35 Iraqi police officers and army soldiers by giving them lethal injections, reopening their wounds or engaging in other deadly acts while they were being treated at a hospital in the northern city of Kirkuk, according to Kurdish security sources and Kurdish television.
Kurdish television broadcast on Sunday what it said was the doctor's taped confession, in which he told police that he sympathized with the radical Sunni Arab insurgent group Ansar al-Sunna. He said that the group paid him to kill the men and that he did it because "I hate the Americans and what they've done to Iraq."
"I injected more than 35 policemen and soldiers, including officers and some who were slightly injured," the doctor, identified by a Kurdish security official as Luay Omar Taie, said in the taped statement. "I used to stop the breathing machines or cut the electricity in the operations room or reopen the wounds."
