The Central London Mosque in Regent's ParkThe Muslim Council of Britain says it is the latest example in a string of anti-Islamic crimes in Britain.
The 58-year-old imam, who has not been named, was assaulted at Regent's Park mosque.
He suffered heavy blood loss, damage to both eyes, and had to undergo emergency surgery, a Muslim Council of Britain spokesman said.
He added: "There is clearly a growing anti-Muslim climate in this country and it has some very worrying implications for all of us.

What about the crimes perpetrated against the civilized members of British society by Muslims, the rapes, the bombings, the mass murder and the verbal abuse of the people of this country.
Did the Muslim population honestly think that there would not be retaliation, it had to happen and I feel that it is finally starting to happen.
Why has it started with violence, usually a last resort for the people of this land, well the answer is simple it is because the Government has singularly failed at every opportunity to address the Muslim problem in the UK.

The answer is as above, instead of an organized methodical solution being found (such as repatriation) people will feel that the only way they can address the situation they find themselves in is by doing what they think is right for them, this is not always good for the majority of civilized people in the UK.
I know it is easy to say its the Governments fault, but in this case it is, the Government by its complete and utter acceptance of Islam and supporting it via the media have made it inevitable that people will act as they have.
The Government have destroyed the covenant that existed between itself and the civilized people of this country.
The Police say that "Islamophobic crime" is up, there have been arson attacks on Mosques and in Glasgow the incidence of attacks on Muslims has increased.
I feel that we are going to see more and more of this in the UK, the Government will vilify people who behave this way, they will be called thugs and other such derogatory names and will no doubt try to link them to the BNP.
The government and the MSM will continue to push the virtues of Islam and ignore the feeling of the vast majority of people in this country, this is a very big mistake but despite many many voices warning the Government they will still make it
How do we know he wasn't attacked by another Muslim for being the 'wrong type' of Muslim?
Far more Muslims are killed in 'hate crimes' by fellow Muslims than are killed by Christians, Jews, Buddhists, Sikhs, Hindus, Wiccans, Scientologists, Mormons and Druids combined.

All Muslims are of the "wrong" type, not just to civilised people but among themselves as well.
In Iraq, that shining light of democracy to the rest of the Muslim words, shias are now murdering shias for being the "wrong" sort of shia.
But not to worry, the EU and the new "NOT the constitution" constitution, will solve all our problems.

The compact that the government will uphold the values of the nation has been destroyed by NuLabour. It is not just in law and order, but immigration, the coddling of foreign terrorists and criminals who should have been deported without recourse to appeals, as they were manifestly illegal aliens.
It is not just the government but the police (who are now disposed to watching hundreds of hours of unedited TV footage, in their new role of TV critiques), CPS and the judiciary, have systematically betrayed the safety of the law abiding citizens of the UK.
The continuous denigration of Britain, its values, history and culture has been going on for so long, that even the so called educated elite have no idea about Britain's pivotal role in the founding of modern Western science, technology and civilisation.

The Asian Council of Britain are quite right to draw attention to the wicked vilification of 'Asians' by sections of the media.
Such vilification can only result in appalling acts of Asianophobia, as seen at the Regents Park Primate House with this attack upon the Asian cleric.
Much more positive news management is needed to stamp this problem out. I'm hopeful that steps are already being taken in this regard.

It's as likely that this cleric is Shi'a and was attacked by a Sunni (or vice-versa) as that he was attacked by an indigenous Briton... let's wait until the facts are known.
Funny they haven't provided much in the way of facts, eh?? As a matter of fact, I'd like to know what "string of anti-Islamic crimes"? Sounds like CAIR in the US: a ham sandwich tossed on a table and a Koran found in a toilet is all they could come up with for the much-ballyhooed "anti-Islamic backlash" they've been braying about for months.

We of cause wont find out what drove him to that act, nobody in his right mind would go into a mosque and beat seven colors of shit out of an Immam, he is lucky to get out alive, but you can bet your life he had a reason. The guy is I think about 43, perhaps he has a daughter has been gang raped by these hound from hell, and the police have done nothing. You can bet your life the people of Hammersmith where he comes from will know. That will mean a few more votes for the BNP at the next election.
