Can you imagine the uproar to this type of conference in the UK?? All the multiculturist worshipping looney lefties would be outraged that this constitutes "picking on" the poor, downtrodden UK moslem community. Gordon Brown would quickly remind MP's that one should not use the word muslim and terrorism in the same sentence - of course the UK's mainstream media has chosen to believe that this ban refers to them & obediently acts accordingly. Hizb-ut Tahrir and other muslim groups undoubtedly would take to the streets of the UK with yet another protest complete with angry, contorted faces, demands for Sharia Law and placards insulting the British people. Anti-terrorism conference in America's most-Muslim city
Robert Spencer, Frank Gaffney, David Schippers among speakers at Dearborn event
Dearborn, Mich. – home to America's largest Muslim population – will be the site of a conference next month featuring experts on the threat of radical Islam, including Robert Spencer and Frank Gaffney.
Open to anyone who wants to "learn the truth," "Understanding the Threat of Radical Islamist Terrorism" is part of a continuing series organized by America's Truth Forum, which provides registration details on its website.
The Oct. 27 conference in the Detroit suburb – all day Saturday – will be preceded by an evening reception Friday night. On Sunday, a special multi-faith discussion forum is scheduled called "Radical Islam: Advancing Solutions."
Jeffrey Epstein, president of America's Truth Forum, said this conference is necessary because Americans are not getting the full story about the threat they face.
"We can no longer afford to keep our heads in the sand," he said. "If you care about this country and the future of your children, and you don't want to see them living under Islamic law, then you need to come to this event."
Along with citizens who want to be informed, the event will be attended by law enforcement officials and first responders – including from Canada – who will have the opportunity to interact and exchange ideas.
Other speakers at the Saturday symposium include David Schippers – the former federal prosecutor and 1998 impeachment chief counsel who investigated the Oklahoma City bombing, Jerusalem Post editor Caroline Glick, professor and FBI adviser Harvey Kushner, former CIA counter-terrorism agent Bruce Tefft and internationally known critic Wafa Sultan.
Their subjects will be:
- Robert Spencer, director of Jihad Watch, best-selling author and expert on radical Islam: "Sharia Law and the West," examining why the U.S. ignores the encroachment of Islamic law on Western civilization at its own peril.
- Frank Gaffney, founder, president of Center for Security Policy: "The Infiltration of Middle Eastern Influence into Washington, D.C., Institutions."
- Caroline Glick, Israeli-American journalist, deputy managing editor of the Jerusalem Post: "Israel and the Global Jihad," examining the centrality of the Palestinian war against Israel to the worldwide jihadist effort.
- Harvey Kushner, chairman of Criminal Justice Department of Long Island University, best-selling author, adviser to the FBI and FAA: "Radical Islam's Infiltration of America."
- David Schippers, former chief investigative counsel for the U.S. House Judiciary Committee, author and noted counter-terrorism expert, will address a subject to be announced.
- Wafa Sultan, Syrian-American psychologist and internationally known critic of militant Islam: "America's Need to Be Educated About Islam," explaining why tough questions should be posed to Muslims about Islamic teachings; the need to monitor the Saudi money trail into American universities, mosques and maddrassas; and the need to effectively infiltrate Muslim communities to monitor and investigate radicalization.
- Bruce Tefft, founding member of CIA's Counterterrorism Task Force: "The Islamist Ideological Conflict – Loyalty to Country vs. Loyalty to Religion," looking at complex issues surrounding Islam's ability to assimilate into host nations.
Spencer is the author of critically acclaimed books on Islam, including "Religion of Peace?: Why Christianity Is and Islam Isn't," "The Truth About Muhammad: Founder of the World's Most Intolerant Religion" and "The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades)."
Sultan seized attention worldwide in February 2006 when her electrifying interview on Al-Jazeera television spread across the Internet through a video clip produced by the Middle East Media Research Institute.
Named last year to Time Magazine's list of 100 influential people in the world, Sultan spoke with WND after addressing last years' America's Truth symposium in Las Vegas. She said she understood Bush's position as president and his need to be diplomatic, but insisted, nevertheless, his words have been "empowering" to Muslim leaders whose ultimate aim is for Islamic law to govern the world.

In a pathetic attempt to try and paint Christianity in a poor light the interviewer "exposed" an organisation called the Kalebs?? who were targeting muslims for conversion. What this had to do with the violence of the muzzies against ex muzzies I've no idea, and the interviewer really let some slime ball immam off the hook when he challenged him over "he who leaves his religion, kill him" Pathetic.

actually thought the programme started quite well, then got very confused when they started introducing christians into the mix. it was pathetic and took the attention away from some very brave people.
the imam was a joke, they never manage to give a straight answer to a question, and he never did let us know if he believed in the death penalty abroad. just bullshit about how peaceful
and loving they are and how they love this country.
terrible people christians, they try and talk people into converting, much worse than the kidnapping and murder carried out by the muslims!
real shame, as should have been a dynamite programme.

I believe that most of these converts to Christianity are asylum seekers, possibly facing deportation, and who can now claim that they will be beheaded if they are sent back. The only ones I would trust are those who are already settled here and have genuinely left Islam.

Please allow me to draw your attention to a letter in this morning's Telegraph from Mr Winston S Churchill, which apart from the obligatory mention of the mythical unicorn-riding moderate Muslims, gives a dire warning of the inevitable conflict to come... "this mortal threat which – if not swiftly dealt with – threatens to bring strife and bloodshed to the streets of Britain on a scale far exceeding anything seen in the bombings of recent years"

"Sir – Britain sends some of the finest and most courageous of their generation to risk their lives and spill their blood chasing the Taliban out of Afghanistan. But who, meanwhile, is guarding our homeland?
A recent police report makes clear that, back here in Britain the Deobandi – the very same Islamist sect responsible for spawning the Taliban in Afghanistan – has succeeded in taking over more than 600 of Britain's 1,350 mosques. In addition, it controls 17 of Britain's 26 Islamic seminaries and produces 80 per cent of Britain's home-trained Islamic clerics.
It's a funny old world, as Margaret Thatcher once famously remarked. Except that this is no laughing matter. Not for 70 years has there been a more clear or present danger to our internal security, to our free society and to our democracy, than that posed by this vipers' nest in our midst. The Deobandi, an ultra- conservative sect, outlaws music, art, television and football, and also demands the entire concealment of women.
According to the Lancashire Council of Mosques, the Deobandi has now taken control of 59 out of 75 mosques in the old Lancashire mill towns of Oldham, Preston, Bury, Blackburn and Burnley. While not all Deobandis are extremist, leading preachers of this sect aim to radicalise the Islamic youth of Britain, and to mobilise them against our society and the freedoms we hold so dear.
When will the Government wake up to this mortal threat which – if not swiftly dealt with – threatens to bring strife and bloodshed to the streets of Britain on a scale far exceeding anything seen in the bombings of recent years?
Why are Gordon Brown and David Cameron, indeed our entire political class, so deafeningly silent on this, the most pressing matter confronting Britain today? Who will help the moderate majority of Muslims maintain control of their mosques? Who will safeguard the homeland?

Teen arrested on terror charges
The teenager has been arrested under the Terrorism Act
A 17-year-old male has been charged with offences under the Terrorism Act, West Yorkshire police have said. The teenager, who is from Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, has been charged with two offences. Police said he was arrested on Tuesday and will appear before Westminster Magistrates Court on Wednesday morning. The charges relate to possessing material for terrorism purposes and collecting or possessing information useful in preparing a terrorist act.

I just logged in no issues, I did have the same issue as DP111 with having my comments checked, however I logged in and passed it and it posted and it has not happened since.
I have been looking for such posts from DP111 so that I can agree them so that he can post under that name, but so far no luck.
