UK CONVICTED JIHADIST LIKELY TO GET EARLY RELEASE

FROM THEOPINIONATOR:

Yet another convicted muslim scumball is getting a far too quick release from British jail. You can be sure if he was a "dedicated supporter of Islamic extremism and ready for terrorist operations overseas" - that NOTHING has changed other than his age. Again, I should reiterate that there is absolutely NOTHING British about this maggot.

Interesting that his cohort is the "Lyrical Terrorist", Samina Malik, who besides being a shop assistant at Heathrow also had a
penchant for penning poems about beheading the kuffar and blowing up the British:

An idiotic British judge felt it unnecessary to give Ms Malik any jailtime so she is out and about amongst us - still writing her garbage and dreaming of beheadings. In fact Sohail Qureshi contacted Ms Malik for suggestions as to how he could more easily get through airport security.

"At the Old Bailey yesterday, Judge Peter Beaumont, the recorder of London, sentenced her to nine months' prison, suspended for 18 months, and ordered her to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work.

"In my judgment your offence is on the margin of what this crime concerns," he told Malik. He said she was of previously good character and from a "supportive and law-abiding family who are appalled by the trouble that you are in".

TheOp CONTINUED:

Surely it is clear to us all that Ms. Malik is of "good character"----isn't it??

A similar type of judicial compassion has been shown for Qureshi - dhimwitted Judge Brian Barker has NO idea where the "
illusive" al Qaeda may be-----

----add this to Qureshi's Barrister spinning the typical muslim sob story:
"His career is now in ruins. He is very unlikely to find work in future." - What a surprise!! CHOOSING to become a terrorist has detrimental affects on one's career!!!!!

Maybe Sohail and Smina can collaborate on a book of poetry???

Thus this kuffar hating Jihadist will be soon released from jail and set up with every conceivable taxpayer paid benefit and housing.

His serving about half of his supposed "considerable sentence" --amounts to little more than a tiny blip in his hate filled life -- but could soon spell the violent end to MANY innocent lives.

Jailed extremist could be out in a year

A BRITISH Muslim who volunteered to fight for jihadist groups linked to al-Qa'eda in Pakistan and Afghanistan has been jailed for four-and-a-half years - but he could be out in just over 12 months.

The Common Serjeant of London, Judge Brian Barker QC, told Sohail Qureshi, from Forest Gate: "The prosecution case is that you are a dedicated supporter of Islamic extremism and you were ready for terrorist operations overseas."

But he added that though the charges were grave, "there is no specific indication of where they are and what they might be".

Qureshi, 30, of Palmerston Road, is the first to be convicted under new legislation targeting the preparation of terrorist acts.

He had already spent around 14 months in custody and so could be freed on parole in just over a year.

Qureshi was arrested at London Heathrow at 7.30pm on October 18 2006, just as he was about to board a plane to Pakistan.

Although he claimed he was going to visit his family for the Islamic festival of Eid, he was carrying £9,000 in cash, a night-vision scope, two metal batons, two sleeping bags and two rucksacks.

He also had a collection of extremist material on CD-ROMs and a computer hard drive.

Investigations revealed he had offered to help the war effort in Pakistan, Afghanistan or the Pakistani border region of Waziristan.

Qureshi, who was due to stand trial at the Old Bailey last week, pleaded guilty to preparing for the commission of terrorist acts, possession of articles for terrorist purposes and possession of articles likely to be useful to terrorists.

The accused also had links to Samina Malik, a female Muslim extremist who worked at WH Smith at Heathrow Airport and was dubbed the "Lyrical Terrorist".

Shortly before his planned trip, he had e-mailed to ask for advice on getting through security.

Malik, 22, from Southall, west London, was spared jail last year after being convicted of possession of material likely to be useful to terrorists.

Defence barrister Andrew Hall told the court: "This was a man who exaggerated very significantly his contacts, his role, his intentions and his importance. There is in this case something of the Walter Mitty. One only has to look at the photograph of this man dressed up as a guerrilla fighter. His career is now in ruins. He is very unlikely to find work in future."

Mr Hall said that the photo had been taken in the part of Pakistan known as the "Wild West".

Before sentencing, Judge Barker told the accused: "It must be made clear that anyone who takes part in or supports terrorist activities  will face a considerable sentence.

"There are Afghans, Eritreans, Somalis, Iraqis, Sudanese - a United Nations of desperation. They are all clinging to the hope that soon, very soon, they will be in the UK. But while they are hoping to change their own lives they also adversely affect others" ...too freaking right they do!!!

Not so much a United Nations as a United Ummah. Afghans, Eritreans, Somalis, Iraqis, Sudanese are all Muslims! Desperation for what? Rape and pillage? These Jihad-crazed psychos have passed through up to a dozen safe countries before they get to the Channel, so why are they all converging on Londonistan?

Enough of the bigotry. This is a world-wide crisis and overwhelmingly it is Muslims who are the victims. Just check the numbers. More than a million dead in Iraq alone. Qureshi deserves his punishment no doubt (not least for being dumb enough to think that he could take on the US army single-handedly) but what of the real war-criminals, the ones who got us into this mess?
