Yet another Study into British Muslims--Again

Why oh why are we doing this AGAIN, yup yet another study into understanding British Muslims, maybe it is me, maybe I am wrong, maybe I have completely lost the plot and the men in white coats should come and take me away (ha ha, hee hee) but understanding Muslims is not that difficult.

We can analyze until the cows come home, this may be very interesting but in the end it achieves nothing simply because the Muslim lives by the Koran, the Koran is the one main influence in the life of a Muslim.

ALL of the activities of daily living are, for the Muslim, prescribed in the Koran there is really no need to analyze the behaviours and thought processes of the individual Muslim, the thought processes will be largely the same as any other human being BUT the thought CONTENT will be governed by the teachings of the Koran.

The physical behaviours of the Muslim will be the same as any other human being when it comes to bodily functions, locomotion, eating, sleeping and dexterity etc will all be the same.

Social behaviours and interactions are again governed by the Koran, what we have to address and deal with is the consequences of these behaviours as they impact upon our society.

Here is yet another report that aims to, as the report puts it:-

The model will also help local service providers ensure that services better reflect local needs and that sub-sections of the Muslim community are not over looked or misrepresented in developing and delivering local services.

iCoCo believes that if there is better understanding and appreciation of the various Muslim communities it will be easier to build bridges between them and all other communities to build mutual trust and respect

This is clearly the establishment reaching out to embrace Islam, more money will be poured into Islamic centres and community programmes, all to little or no avail, the Muslim community will not fundamentally change, they may present a veneer of compliance, but this is Taqiyya.

The words may have changed but the song remains the same -- Allah above all- death to the infidel
