THE QUILLIAM CONSPIRACY

The Quilliam conspiracy, never heard of it well thats not surprising because I have just invented it, a new "ThinkTank" has come into being and it was launched today at at the British Museum in London it is called the Quilliam foundation and its declared aim is to have "western Islam" whatever that is.

This is what they aim for:

The Quilliam Foundation

Is a counter extremism think tank. Created by former activists of radical Islamist organizations, our founders are familiar with the mindset and methods of extremist groups. Now under the guidance of mainstream Muslim scholars, we believe that Western Muslims should revive Western Islam, our Andalusian heritage of pluralism and respect, and thereby find harmony in West-Islam relations.

We have to be aware that this think tank is alluding to bringing a benign and peaceful form of Islam into the west, we all know this is not possible for as Muslims how can they go against the teachings of the Koran without becoming apostate, it is indisputable fact that Muslims cannot go against the holy words of their prophet.

This think tank is undoubtedly funded by the Government of the UK, it is in effect another Quango and the purpose of this Quango is to lull the British people into believing that Islam is nice and friendly and means them no harm.

Ex Hiz - ut - Tahrir members are on the committee of this Quango as are:-

RT Hon Lord Ashdown of
Norton-Sub-Hamdon GCMB KBE

Paddy Ashdown is a leading international statesman. Former leader of the British Liberal Democrats, he is a powerful advocate for liberal, humane values as a counterbalance to extremist tendencies in all religions and political ideologies. Paddy's manifold contributions to global and domestic politics are detailed here

Michael Gove MP

Michael Gove is Conservative MP for Surrey Heath and Shadow Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families. He worked on The Times from 1995-2005, and continues to write for the paper. He makes regular appearances on BBC Radio 4's Moral Maze and Newsnight Review on BBC2.

Michael is author of Celsius 7/7, a courageous indictment of Islamism in Britain. He is an observant Anglican and outspoken supporter of ordinary, mainstream Muslims.

Such names will give credence to this Quango and there lies the danger if the populous accept the words of this Quango because people like Paddy Ashdown are associated with it, it makes the task of introducing Islam all that much easier, you can see all of the people involved on their web site.

These people claim to want to live in partnership, that is a sop, all you have to do is think of the demographics in this country, Islam is reproducing at three times the rate of the indigenous population, when the numbers eventually favour Islam the pretext of peaceful co existence made by these people will fall away and true colours will be pinned to the flagpole.

The Andalusian heritage is spoken of, well I don't think the Spanish have the same view of the Moorish occupation of Spain as the Muslims have after all the Reconquista happened and Spain reclaimed their land.

Another part of this puzzle now falls into place, the Education authorities are launching a new website for the promotion of Islam in the UK, the aims of this site are remarkably similar to those of the Quilliam Foundation, their launches are remarkably close to each other.

The Government must be involved in this particular venture, after all it is the Dept of Ed that is doing this.

This appears to be quite well orchestrated and well planned and I for one am certain that both of these "initiatives " are blessed and funded by our Government for the single purpose of facilitating the growth of Islam in the UK.

You have been warned.

Finally, listen to radio4 tonight at 8pm, "Can I leave Islam" - Dr Patrick Sukdheo, you can also download this from BBC/I afterwards

    From the Qulliam site

Just as Muslims across the globe have adopted from and adapted to local cultures and traditions, while remaining true to the essence of their faith

And that last is precisely the problem. The essence of Islam is conquest of the lands, wealth, power, booty (including women) of the Infidel.

But let us proceed. Let us consider for argument, the hypothetical situation that ALL Muslims at present living in the West, accepted the call to clean up their communities of extremism. They even went further and made the changes in their teachings of the Koran and the jihad. Such an outcome would no doubt come as a relief to many on this site and elsewhere. But I counter, that all such changes were being done merely to protect the ummah while it grows at ever-increasing pace in the West. Once a near majority is achieved, that future generation of Muslims will simply revoke any changes and return to the traditions of the unchanging and unchangeable Koran i.e. the "canonical texts" as Hugh puts it. They will even praise this generation of Muslims for having done what was necessary to protect Islam.
Islamic ideologues take the long view - in several decades or more. It is only right that we as well consider options keeping in mind Islam’s long-term goals.

Quilliam Foundation also wants to go beck to the root of Islam. Note the equivalence with Christianity that is being sold here. In Europe there were wars of religion, until it was realised (when the Bible became available to all), that the message of Jesus was one of love. What the Quilliam Foundation is trying to do is to sell the idea, that Islam is like Christianity, and that the violence of Islam now, is quite out of keeping with the message of Mohammed. Of course this is pure dissimulation - it is trading on ignorance of people, who believe that all religions must be peaceful and good, and it is just the extremists who are to blame. It is trading on the gullibility of politicians, who would like to believe in the inherent peaceful nature of Islam, and thus not having to do what is difficult and painful - rejection of Islam in the West, and its slow and steady removal from our shores.

There is no other peaceful and humane way. The rest lead to civil war, massacres, ethnic cleansing, and partition.

The Quilliam Foundation has to be watched. It is backed by the government, is on the BBC site, and as Gandalf points out, has the same aims as the Education authorities in the UK – i.e., to lull the population about the impending disaster that this government has itself created.

    More on the Quilliam Foundation

Amazingly, within 24 hours of the anouncement of the Quilliam Foundation, it will be interviewed on BBC's flagship Newsnight programme. From the Daily Telegraph

    http://my.telegraph.co.uk/elle/april_2008/quilliam_foundation.htm

This has all the hallmarks of a well organised programme, with the BBC being "advised" to push it. Reuters, AP etal, all have picked it up. For a couple of guys just setting up an organisation, to worldwide exposure within 24 hours - Thats some going unless it has sereious support.

    >b>Why it will not work.

Muslim websites have picked it up, and surprisingly, given the opportunity to go along with this Taqqiya, have rejected the Quilliam Foundation's attempt to interpret the tenets of Islam in the way suggested by Quilliam Foundation. Moreover, Quilliam Foundation's sponsor Jemima Khan, was not an optimum choice. Read on

We will hear more from this organisation - a lot more.

Alert Jihad Watch and other places. This has to be watched.

Google Quilliam Foundation - lots of links

    From Harry's place

    I'm not buying.

An organisation named after a 19th century British convert ( and a very confused individual) has, as its primary function, the dissemination and propagation of yet more Islam.

This group is aimed at converting the more cosmopolitan and urbain amongst us.

Imagine a Roman Catholic group seeking reconciliation with Amerindians still reluctant to convert to Christainity, and calling itself 'The Cortés Foundation'?

After parusing the organistaion's site, I noticed the name of an H.A. Hellyer, an 'intellectual' who's chaired several of the groups Oxford presentations, mentioned several times.

Hellyer is a kind of pied-piper who has, in his thrall, a retenue of rag-taggle white converts ( mostly failed musicians and "artists") who are VERY radical.

Hellyer's followers deceitfully assume typically progressive identities ( jazz-musicians, painters, etc), feign Western progressive positions, and do so in an effort to ingratiate themselves with prospective converts and to direct those prospective converts towards a form of Islam that, in the end, is anything but moderate.

Hellyer is as islamo-supremacist in orientation as Inyat B., and although he doesn't appear to be member of the Foundation, the fact they freely associate with him leaves much to be concerned about.

But hey! If you're looking to convert a more upscale crowd, a crowd desperate and clutching at 'moderate' straws, it's a foolproof strategy!

Could an Islamic "Reformation" pacify Islam?

As should be plain to anyone who has examined the Islamic sources, to take the violence out of Islam would require it to jettison two things: the Quran as the word of Allah and Muhammad as Allah's prophet. In other words, to pacify Islam would require its transformation into something that it is not. The Western Christian Reformation, that is often used as an example, was an attempt (successful or not) to recover the essence of Christianity, namely, the example and teachings of Christ and the Apostles. Trying to get back to the example of Muhammad would have very different consequences. Indeed, one may say that Islam is today going through its "Reformation" with the increasing jihadist activity around the globe. Today, Muslims of the Salafi ("early generations") school are doing exactly that in focusing on the life of Muhammad and his early successors. These reformers are known to their detractors by the derogative term Wahhabi. Drawing their inspiration from Muhammad and the Quran, they are invariably disposed to violence. The unhappy fact is that Islam today is what it has been fourteen centuries: violent, intolerant, and expansionary. It is folly to think that we, in the course of a few years or decades, are going to be able to change the basic world outlook of a foreign civilization. Islam's violent nature must be accepted as given; only then will we be able to come up with appropriate policy responses that can improve our chances of survival.
