Labour Eliminating History & Geography from Schools

The brainwashing of our children continues.
First it was the removal of Christian and British history words from the Oxford Children's Dictionary - now Labour is considering the removal of history and geography curricula from Primary schools. Clearly another overt effort by these looney leftists to prevent British children from learning about their heritage.
So what is more important than history & geography - to these dhimmified social engineering fanatics?
Government advisor, Sir Jim Rose, "proposed replacing up to 14 individual subjects with a “theme-based” approach to give teachers more flexibility to teach fewer subjects in more depth."
Thus this continues to open the door to the teaching of more "emotive" subjects geared towards social engineering topics.
Clearly Sir Rose feels that the children would be better off learning about the general topics of "happiness" and "healthy living". Of course - the real intent is to ensure that all children be indoctrinated with a heavy diet of what Labour/EU deems constitutes happiness and health - seasoned with a large spoonful of political correctness.
This is another instance of the dumbing down of British schools (and society in general) in order to make less savvy future voters who more easily manipulated by the EUSSR-ocrats.
It also falls into Labours philosophy of lowering the expectations of all British students in order to accomodate the the rampantly growing and much lesser educated immigrant population. No surprise that muslims alsoplay into curricula revisions - we know that back in 2007, teaching about the Holocaust and Crusades was stopped- so as to not offend muslims:
"Teachers are dropping controversial subjects such as the Holocaust and the Crusades from history lessons because they do not want to cause offence to children from certain races or religions, a report claims"

The dumbing down of primary schools is trickling up to higher levels:
A level exams let students read travel brochures & train timetableinstead of novels
Shakespeare now being taught to British teens throught the use of cartoons and jokes.
Universities increasingly need refresher to offer classes on basic math, stats, and teaching people to write essays
A level English students now reading Harry Potter books
British employers also get to "benefit" from NuLabour-ised education:
"The Confederation of British Industry published The Confederation of British Industry published some damning findings about school-leavers' poor skills that support Ms Owen's concerns. Companies surveyed by the CBI grumbled that many youngsters were unable to do the simplest mental arithmetic or to write English without spelling mistakes and grammatical blunders. One in three employers said standards were so low they had to provide staff with remedial training in English and maths.
Despite clear facts that such dumbing down of the British educational system is having a deleterious effect on our youth -
"Teachers’ unions welcomed reform of the curriculum but complained about the failure to tackle the pressure put on them and children by Sats tests, which Sir Jim was ordered by ministers not to review. "
Not to review for now -the future outcome of teacher complaints will eventually be even easier Sats tests likely geared toward essays on "What makes me happy" --make that oral not written essays - written requires grammar, punctuation and writing skills.
When it comes to education in Great Britain - clearly it is a race to the bottom.

1) If you want your children to retain the important values you teach them at home, choose their school VERY CAREFULLY and monitor it constantly. If your child is in a bad school, take him/her out. Kids shouldn't be expected to hold their own against the manipulation they will be subjected to. Group processes (such as values clarification, group counseling) are in wide use in public schools, but may be used in private schools too. DON'T ABDICATE YOUR POSITION AS PARENT, THE PERSON MOST RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR CHILD. Nobody loves him or her as much as you do
