This news story would be quite laughable - if it wasn't so pathetic -Kirklees police officers are being put through a series of six Islamic brainwashing sessions at four local mosques.

I found no evidence that the Kirklees police have been accused or convicted of unfair treatment of muslims - yet the local "diversity genius" has mandated that constables and community support officers become even more "aware" of muslims. Apparently police officers do not read the news or watch television or notice the ever expanding muslim population in Kirklees area - which is currently about 10% muslim.

".......to provide an opportunity to learn basic greetings and an understanding of some of the issues which staff may face. "They will learn how to identify particular issues and prevent any misunderstandings or insensitivity through lack of awareness or understanding.”

To prevent misunderstandings of muslim???  Apparently Kirklees diversity czar, Steve Bedford, has forgotten, is unaware -or agrees with  - the manner in which Kirklee muslims intentionally & publicly insulted prior Mayor of Kirklees, Jane Calvert - or he doesn't care. Perhaps Mr. Bedford is in the same type of political correctness induced muslim denial that Mayor Calvert experienced prior to her humiliation? Here are excerpts from the blog -FEMALE UK MAYOR PUBLICLY SNUBBED BY MALE MUSLIM CONSTITUENCY- where I wrote about the insult -

"Those that read and write about the Religion of Peace will be shocked that the departing Mayor of Kirklees, Jean Calvert, is shocked that the same muslim men she has so handily pandered to for years - refuse to have their picture taken with her. To make matters even more ironic - the public snub occurred after Ms. Calvert had been invited to a "community cohesion" get-together organised by the North Kirklees Sunni Muslim Council of Mosques and local imams to mark Eid-Milad-Un-Nabi, the prophet Mohammed's birthday

Mayor Calvert tearfully stated: ""The photographer was told in no uncertain terms that 'we don't have photographs taken with women.That was bad enough but then to stand on my own for a further 15 minutes while photographs were being taken of all the other guests in the room was very upsetting."

Muslim men being rude and denigrating of women?? Ms Calvert should have taken time from her tunnel visioned "fighting for the rights of women" to learn about her own muslim constituency and their beliefs about women..... A traditional Islamic saying is that, "A woman's heaven is beneath her husband's feet." (See blog for additional Sura quotes)

.......Ex-Mayor Calvert - can expect exactly NO change ---especially when she is now turning the gavel over to the new Mayor - muslim Karam Hussein."

So now we are assured that NO change will occur in Kirklees - instead of the touted "assimilation" of muslims into the British culture - we have the police becoming more dhimmified through concerted training aimed specifically at appeasing muslims -and enough to bring the rest of us to join the tearful Jean Calvert in shedding a few tears of embarrassment and disdain. Some questions arise - will female constables or community support officers be allowed in athe same areas of the mosques as men? - and treated with the same manner as male officers? Will the male muslims shake female hands or be photographed with them? - clearly not.

Apparently, in the UK, discrimination against women is fine---------------for muslims.

Mayor Hussein and the North Kirklees Sunni Muslim Council of Mosques- must be very pleased.
