Dhimmi Archbishop Williams Gloats - Says People Are Behind Sharia Law in Great Britain

FROM THEOPINIONATOR:

Does anyone still doubt that this sorry excuse of a religious leader is really a muslim disguised as a Christian? After all - he's already got the "imam beard" & subservience to and support of Islam/sharia law.

The absolute gall of this snaggle-toothed moron to gloat about the expansion of sharia law in Britain is outrageous, shameless and nauseating. This delusional man refuses to see the societal harm caused by the infliction of sharia law onto and into Britain - preferring instead to "be right" about his predictions.

Perhaps the dear Archbishop should get to be "personally enriched" by some sharia law ?---- then see how much HE likes and supports it.

Surely it is past time for him to resign and let a real Christian take his place.

Archbishop of Canterbury: Society is coming round to my views on sharia

The Archbishop of Canterbury has defended his controversial comments about the introduction of Islamic law to Britain and claimed that public opinion is now behind him.

On the anniversary of the interview in which Dr Rowan Williams said it "seems inevitable" that some parts of sharia would be enshrined in this country's legal code, he claimed "a number of fairly senior people" now take the same view.

He added that there is a "drift of understanding" towards what he was saying, and that the public sees the difference between letting Muslim courts decide divorces and wills, and allowing them to rule on criminal cases and impose harsh punishments.

However critics insist that family disputes must be dealt with by civil law rather than according to religious principles, and claim the Archbishop's comments have only helped the case of extremists while making Muslim women worse off, because they do not have equal rights under Islamic law.

The Archbishop, the most senior cleric in the Church of England, faced calls to resign last February when he said it was likely that elements of the religious principles based on the Koran, concerning marriage, finance and conflict resolution, would be enshrined in British legislation one day.

But in July he was supported by Lord Phillips of Worth Matravers, who was then the Lord Chief Justice, while it later emerged that five sharia courts are already operating mediation systems under the Arbitration Act, and that the Government allows Islamic tribunals to settle the custody and financial affairs of divorcing couples and send their judgements to civil courts for approval.

When asked at a recent conference of Anglican leaders in Egypt whether he feels he has been vindicated, Dr Williams replied: "It's been quite interesting to see how a number of fairly senior people have observed that certain kinds of limited aspects of Muslim law are imaginable within a British legal framework, without upsetting the apple cart of undermining human rights.

"People are maybe beginning to distinguish the general question of Muslim law, and the extremes of appalling practice which disfigure it in so many parts of the world or the extremes of trying to push Sharia law upon an entire society.

"So I think there is a drift of understanding of what I was trying to say, perhaps I like to think so."

But Douglas Murray, the director of the Centre for Social Cohesion, said: "He has started a process which is deeply dangerous, damaging to Britain and to Muslim women in Britain.

"It was a wicked move because it undermines the progressives and gives succour to the extremists.

"How does the Archbishop of Canterbury know, sitting in Lambeth Palace, that a woman in Bolton has volunteered to give up half her inheritance to her brother?"

Neil Addison, a barrister who specialises in religious discrimination cases, said: "I think the Archbishop has failed to give a justification for sharia law. What's the advantage it would bring to British Muslims and to British law?

"I believe his speech was deeply harmful to British Muslims because it helps the separation of them from the rest of society.

"What he was asking for was sharia dealing with wills and divorce, which are public areas of law, not private ones."

The western values suggest equality and freedom for all, that means society must allow religious freedom. The Jews and Christians have Kosher meat and Church schools, yet when Muslims simply ask for the very same teatment. the Islamphobic secular right wing jump up and down, screaming that somehow western values have been attacked.

Sharia courts are for Muslim community not for any body else. The Jews through out Europe have their own religious courts. Similarly state funded Muslim schools are for Muslim children. There is no place for a non-Muslim child or a teacher in a Muslim school.

There are hundreds of state as well as Church schools where Muslim children are in majority. In my opinion, all such schools may be designated as Muslim community schools.

Bilingual Muslim children need bilingual Muslim teachers as role models during their developmental periods. A bilingual teacher has the ability to teach bilingually and explain complex concepts to children who have limited understanding of English. Learning in their first language 'raises their self-esteem, self-respect and strengthens their identities in western culture.

A report has found that bilingual children are far more likely to get top-grades pass in all subjects. Too many schools miss out on the opportunity to ensure bilingual pupils develop their skills in languages other then English. Children using first language other than English have a some important academic advantages as this bilingualism enables children to develop cognitively. It can also improve 'intercultural understanding'.

@ we can see how wonderful all this bilingual teaching is, the Jews have been in the desert for 60 years and turned it into an oasis, the muslims hundreds of years and turned the desert into, well desert!! and where would the culture(!!!!!) be without oil, absolutely nowhere... Islam is not compatable with rest of the world..

Western values do allow religious freedom...freedom to follow the religion or non-religion of the individual's choice.

Freedom to leave, change or marry into any religion...freedom to question, criticise & discuss any religion.

Western values do not tolerate the putting to death of any individual who wishes to exercise their right to participate in any of the above.

That is why islam is alien to free thinking Westerners and we will fight to the death to keep these freedoms!

    Iftikhar,

Words have different meanings to you and non-Muslims. There is so much you have said that requires but I have so little time! But here is a beginning.

What do you really mean by ‘Salaam’. You do not wish us peace -- you wish us Sharia, the peace of the Muslim, the right of the Muslim to lord it over the non-Muslim.

Then you speak of Religious freedom. Religious freedom to non-Muslims means in part the right to worship God without interference from the State and discuss freely ones beliefs and persuade others of their way of life BUT without threats or coercion. To you it means attempting to impose by force, if necessary, Sharia as a daily effort and long-term goal on all of society. Your religion has a clear political component of discrimination to women and non-Muslims. There is no equality before the law in Islam and therefore ‘religious freedom’ to you means religious bullying – it is the opposite of what non-muslims mean when they use the term.

But you are clever. By using such terms you confuse, mislead and incur feelings of guilt on good-hearted non-Muslims who do not really understand your agenda of Sharia for all.

    More perhaps later, time permitting

The problem with immigrant who do not want to assimilate is that they fracture nations. Multiculturalism tells us that Britain has no core culture. Britain is not an Islamic nation.

Culturism is the opposite of multiculturalism. All nations are culturist. Saudi Arabia is culturist. They recognize that they have a core culture to protect, guide and promote. All nations do this. Britain has a duty and a right to do so too.

Multiculturalists say to celebrate diversity. That is because they do not take it seriously. Culturists know that some culture's values are irreconcilable with other's. Islam is the West's historic enemy and will not allow secular law. It must be refused.

Stop Islamic immigration. It will lead to demanding Sharia courts and schools. This is not racist. It is culturist. Racism is stupid. But since cultural diversity is real, culturism is necessary.
