A Muslim community leader who claimed last week to have been abducted from his own home by racists as part of a British National party hate campaign, has been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
The first thing that comes into my mind is this:
Is this a set up, has this been engineered to bring the police into disrepute and are we going to see a claim of unfair arrest followed by a claim for damages, no that is a silly thought and does not stand up to scrutiny,
However, if this perversion of the course of justice proves to be true it does cast a shadow over other claims that Muslims and others have been victimized by the so called extreme right .
For many years now the police and civil authorities have nearly always accepted that the complainant, if from an ethnic minority, and is complaining about racism or a hate crime, then they are telling the truth, this is especially true of employment law in the UK.
The stance of the authorities has always been the reverse of British law, where racism or hate crime is concerned the accused is guilty until proven innocent, and proving yourself innocent of such a charge is very difficult.
Because of this anomaly it has been very easy for Muslims and other ethnic groups to claim many grievances, usually involving damages of some kind.
This case is the first I have heard of where it would appear, that if proven, the intent was to maliciously discredit a lawfully constituted political party in the UK..by an ethnic minority group
If, if the above proves to be the case then has there been a significant shift in the tactics Islam employs to achieve its aims?, I would argue that they feel strong enough to try such a caper knowing that the present laws actually protect them to a high degree, after all, all they have to do to get the establishment shaking is to yell Islamophobia , police persecution, unfair discrimination, police harassment, persecution of a minority group and to claim that their "Human Rights" have been ignored.
I will watch this case with interest
Muslims are encouraged by the Koran to lie to and deceive the infidel - it's know a Taqiyya. In any conflict between a Muslim and an infidel the law should assume the Muslim is lying unless it can be proved otherwise.

In today's Sun and Mail each article carried a comments section which were then removed...presumably because of bombardment of what the British public really think of this oik.
I too will watch this with interest although I suspect should he be found guily the story will quietly slip away from the media.

If this Muslim is ever brought to trial, which is unlikely, as NuLabour has decided to re-brand itself as the British Nu-Islam party, the case will be dismissed by the judge. Understandable, as the judge has a family, and will not want them to beheaded (Oops, am I guilty of Islamophobia?).

Just to dovetail your comment when you say: ‘this is an old tactic’.
If it is a tactic and this man is found guilty, it is a tactic that his leader, Mohammed was familiar with and encouraged in his followers. Of course, deceit in war is to be expected, but it should be noted that it is not only a tactic of warfare but as a part of his religion; it is nothing new in Islam.
In another story some of Mohammed’s followers had no problem going off to kill someone who offended Mohammed but they first had to get permission from Mohammed to lie in order to get close enough to kill. Permission was granted!
