Muslims have been arrested on suspicion of terrorist activities in the UK this in itself is not unusual. Needless to say the Muslim communities that these people come from say " he was a quiet man from a respected family etc, etc etc," or "he attended our local Mosque" and many other phrases are cast out for public consumption.

In Bolton they have gone one step further, the Muslim community has DEMANDED - yes - DEMANDED that Asif Farooqui - one of the men arrested be released.

Just who do these people think they are, who are they to demand anything, this demonstration of bloated self importance highlights the holier than thou attitude of Muslims in the UK and the USA, that they are not to be touched in any way irrespective of what they do, think or say.

The almost saint like portrayal of this man by his neighbours is typical, well lets be honest here if this man is involved in terrorist activities he is hardly going to advertise the fact is he? - no he will keep a low profile, be seen to be doing all the right things, foster and develop a good image in the community whilst quietly going about his alleged activities.

These people who go about demanding should take a good look at who they are, they are NOT above the rest of the population, they are not above the law.

Another incident of this bloated self importance has happened in America, a woman whilst out shopping  apparantly made a comment about the Fort Hood massacre, just as a hijabed lady walked past, the Hijabed woman later claimed that her veil was pulled of by the woman who is said to have made the original comment.

The lady Valerie Kenney, 54, a bank teller from Tinley Park, Ill., appeared at the Bridgeview Courthouse on Wednesday morning before being released on $5,000 bail. If convicted of the felony, Kenney faces up to 3 years in prison and a $25,000 fine. She is due back in court Dec. 3.

CAIR said :- "I think (a charge of hate crime) sends the appropriate message that these kinds of race-based lash-outs are unacceptable,'' said Ahmed Rehab, executive director of the Chicago chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations. ''Every time something like (the Fort Hood shootings) happens, the Muslim community prepares for a backlash.'

Race based!! Islam is not a Race for starters, and just what does this man Ahmed Rehab expect, does he expect the people of a country NOT to react to such a massacre? does he expect people to sit back and say or do nothing when their land is attacked, does he expect that any such atrocity committed by Muslims is to be accepted and without reprisals? if he does then he is living in a fools paradise and as his name suggests he is probably in need of a long spell in rehab.

These people, Muslims, are trying to make themselves untouchable - responsible for nothing whilst abusing all the rights that democracy affords them.

Actions do have consequences, if an action is taken by a group or individual that harms a country or society then that individual or group must expect to suffer the consequences - there is no immunity.

The bloated self importance syndrome is growing in the UK and USA, the cause of this syndrome is our fear of challenging such attitudes for fear of being made the victim of the pernicious PC practices that exist in both countries, just as Valerie Kenny has been.
