Harems banned in the UK
The words "horse - gate and bolted" immediately sprang into my head when I read this small article.
Phil Woolas the immigration Minister has declared that Harems are to be banned in the UK, I always thought that they were illegal in the UK, I know that I am not allowed by law to have more than one wife.
Oh silly me, how could I forget the Muslim population in the UK, this group of people have been importing their wives for years, the DSS even pays them to do so - a nice little earner so to speak, it is reassuring to know that the British taxpayer is supporting and funding the demographic bomb that is slowly exploding in our country.
This development must go against the grain for Mr Woolas, after all he is the Minister for IMMIGRATION, he is there to get people IN to the country - not stop them - does this mean that he will not reach his government set target?

They will be allowed only one wife and must provide documentary proof they have divorced all other spouses when applying to settle here.
The new rules were issued by Immigration Minister Phil Woolas, who said: "Just because people come from a different culture it does not mean they can usurp UK immigration law.
There are thought to be 1,000 harems in Britain costing at least £5million a year but the rules will see dozens more turned away
1000 Harems in the UK, that is approximately 4000 wives, if each wife has three children we have 12000 children
this is how the slow bomb of demographics works.
Dozens more will be turned away, but will the existing harems be declared illegal and all funding stopped? - why am I skeptical about that happening.
Closing the gate after the horse has bolted will achieve little, the damage has already been done

That means a letter from the mullah stating that the man has stated over the phone, or even texted his wife, " I divorce you", three times. In fact he does not need a mullah - a record of the text message should be enough.
Even if such a system could work, all Muslims have to do is to bring in one wife, divorce her, bring another, divorce her,etc, all the while claiming income support for all.
There is NO WAY but the ONLY WAY, and Gandalf is his messenger.

They have been doing that for years. When I worked in a 98% muslim area - admittedly on a small sample of households - I reckoned 25% divorced wife No 1 when the man was about 40. He brought in a young replacement and had a second family while wife No 1 was supported by the DSS nearby.

About time too.
I am a bit mystified though. Does not the EU and our own national policies require ‘support for family life’?
And if Muslim men have four wives and Islam allows a man to have four wives as an aspect of family life, how can Minister Phil Woolas deny that support to Muslim families?
Will he make representations to the EU and the UK Government to redefine or clarify the definition of marriage and family life?
Or has it already been defined as one man and one woman (over the age of 16) for life, or at least at any particular time!? It looks like he could be accused of acting contrary to ‘family life’ or being anti-gay or a bigoted Islamophobe or all three.
