Another nail in or cultures coffin
Many of you will have guessed that one of my favourite quotes is " we need to know why we are who we are"
Mr Paul Ley, the Editor of History today puts it this way :-He said: 'To understand our society and its politics we have to understand our Anglo-Saxon heritage.
'It's crucial people understand their past and we don't become an amnesiac society.
This quote is made by Mr Ley in response to the the following announcement :
A leading university is to scrap teaching and research into pre-1700 British history because of cuts. The 'shocking' decision by the University of Sussex to focus solely on the past 300 years means students will no longer study events such as the Norman invasion, Henry VIII's reign and the Civil War.
European history will start after 1900 --jettisoning events such as the French Revolution.
The University says it is taking this action due to poor uptake in this subject, the poor uptake in the subject rises from the destruction of our History in primary and secondary schools.
The destruction of this subject and research into it is not accidental, it has been deliberate, the aim of this destruction is to ensure that our children do become amnesiac and have no concept what so ever about their origins and their culture
This strategy links in with Nu Labours deliberate acts of social engineering in wanting to create a "multicultural Britain, to achieve such a state then the culture of the indigenous population has to be sanitized and washed away.
The best way to do that is to make sure that all the cultural roots that exist are not passed on to our children, this is what Nu Labour and our educationalists are striving to achieve - and they are succeeding, our culture is not being passed on to following generations.
Not surprisingly Sussex University will develop the following courses - 'film, music, media and global studies' - you know the really academic subjects in which you can get a degree by watching TV for a few years.
>

I remember when these commies and loonies were first elected, they commissioned the Runnymede Trust to examine our history in relation to nu labours multicultural intentions. This resulted in the Parek report which sought to undermine our history and heritage. Of course, when it first saw the light of day, there was, quite understandably a national outcry and the report was quietly forgotten about but the commies didn't forget it and went about their task of implementing it in secret. In time, our flag was virtually outlawed as was our Christian faith,Christmas, nurserey rhymes, our culture and our history. The latter has been re-written and is being force-fed to primary school children along with political correctness. We will see the fruits of these nefarious activites for generations.
Remember this in may when you come to vote.

The truth about what Labour have done to this country is political dynamite http://crombouke.blogspot.com/2010/02/labour-have-deliberately-destroyed.html
I can't understand why the Tories aren't using this information, unless they have the same objectives themselves.

I am afraid this has been going on for years. My son is in his thirties and I just could not believe he had never heard of the English (in reality the British Isles) Civil War. One of the key events if not THE key event in 1000 years of British history. He explained his year had only done 17th Century Social History.
Of course without being paranoid that is the way the state must tell it. How can the millions of immigrants "relate" to tales of Normans, Plantagenet's, Good Queen Bess, Wolfe, Nelson, Wellington?
