Halal or not Halal - that is the question
The French are revolting - again, but this is nothing like to French revolution, as we know the French love their food and they consider it to be the finest in the World, that may, or maybe not be true, one thing is certain however they are most certainly up in arms about their Burgers.
Halal or not Halal that is the question and answers are being demanded, a French fast food chain has introduced "Halal Burgers" only and that is all they serve, this has stuck in the throats of the French people, they want non Halal Burgers.
Quite right to why should the French have a particular type of food forced down their throats
From the Times Online
TheAmerican culinary import that was once anathema for Gallic patriots isat the heart of the latest bout of anguish over Islam in France.Politicians, media and Paris penseurs have been piling inagainst Quick, a Franco-Belgian fast-food chain, over its policy ofserving only halal meat in eight of its 362 burger outlets.
Quick'spopular Strong Bacon burger is out, replaced by smoked turkey at theIslamically correct restaurants at Roubaix, on the Belgian frontier, and in Muslim-dominated suburbs of Paris and other cities.
Would such a protest happen in the UK - of course not - it is quite in order for Muslims to demand that we change our eating habits, protest about the design of an ice cream cover from Burger King
With the advent of a multi-million Pound Halal industrial Estate being built in Wales and 5000 Halal Butchers being imported into the UK I would hazzard a guess that the UK is not far off becoming Halal.
Many schools already serve Halal meats to our children - Muslim or not and if a resraunt does not serve halal food the Muslims complain of discrimination
The French are now stating that they are being discriminated against and that they should have the choice as to what meat they eat and how it is prepared - and so it should be.
The French as we all know are trying to ban the Burka, let us hope they do so, I say this for two reasons, a) it is a statement of Islamic dominance, and the banning will enable Muslim females to actually eat a burger (preferably not halal)
See what I mean- a burger has to be easier than Spaghetti - I think

From Kabul to an M1 service station via a dinghy: the Afghans dying to get into Britain
boatloads of mainly Afghans slash their own craft so watching police are forced to render them from Turkey into the EU. Many of them - especially children - drown. In a special report covering 4,000 miles from Kabul to a service station on the M1, Live follows the surge of Afghan immigrants driven by one belief: our Afghan campaign means the UK owes them a living

The strange thing with Muslims, is that once they are settled with rights to stay in the UK, they start the very same behavior that led to the disaster in their own country. Jihad calls to a Muslim will always trump democracy etc.

While we're on the subject of halal, I thought some people may be interested in the petition regarding labelling of ready made foods containing halal meat. The link to it is:
