The widow of a July 7 suicide bomber yesterday launched a High Court bid to be represented at the victims’ inquest - saying she had also suffered the loss of a loved one in the atrocity.
Hasina Patel, whose husband was terrorist mastermind Mohammad Sidique Khan, is seeking legal aid to challenge the coroner’s decision to exclude Khan’s death from the hearing for the 52 victims of the 2005 London bombings.
If the mother of one’s application is granted, October’s long-awaited inquest could be delayed by months of legal wrangling, to the distress of those who have waited more than five years for it to take place.
Lawyers for Miss Patel claim there should be ‘no material distinction’ between her and the families of those killed, because she ‘equally suffered the loss of a relative’.
But the move will anger bereaved families, who do not want the deaths of the terrorists included in the same inquest as the 52 innocents whose lives they took.
Miss Patel hopes to overturn the decision made by Lady Justice Hallett in May to hold a separate hearing into the deaths of the four bombers - Mohammad Sidique Khan, 30, Shehzad Tanweer, 22, Hasib Hussain, 18, and Jermaine Lindsay, 19.
The Government has already agreed to give legal aid to the families of the 52 victims. But Miss Patel’s request for equal funding was refused in May this year.

Afterwards, her solicitor Imran Khan said: ‘There appears to be no material distinction between the victims’ families and the position of my clients as family members who, through no fault of their own, have equally suffered the loss of a relative.’
Yesterday Ian Wise QC, representing Miss Patel, told the High Court that she wanted legal aid ‘so that she can be represented to make representations on the resumption of the inquest into the death of her husband and whether it should be joined to the existing inquest’.
He referred to Miss Patel as the wife of the ‘alleged ringleader’, saying she could help the inquest by providing information. But Lord Justice Thomas demanded to know what information Miss Patel had that she had not already told police, warning that any application to include the bombers in the inquest would cause a delay.

Yesterday Ashley Underwood QC, representing the Lord Chancellor, said Miss Patel wanted legal aid only to defend her reputation.
Clifford Tibber of Oury Clark Solicitors, which represents several victims’ families, said: ‘They have waited for more than five years for this and for them to wait any longer would be devastating for them.’
Miss Patel, who was born in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, married Khan in 2002 after they met at Dewsbury College, where both were studying to work in the education sector.
She has described her husband as a ‘good person’ who was brainwashed by Islamic militants.
Funny how the dumfuks are always good people but brainwashed... how good can you have ever been to want to blow people into little pieces for your loony religion! The idiot woman shouldn't see a penny and her solicitors should be charged with wasting court time!

This is by far the best explanation of the Muslim terrorist situation I have ever read. His references to past history are accurate and clear. Not long, easy to understand, and well worth the read. A man, whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II, owned a number of large industries and estates. When asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism. 'Very few people were true Nazis,' he said, 'but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come. My family lost everything. We are told again and again by 'experts' and 'talking heads' that Islam is the religion of peace and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the specter of fanaticrampaging across the globe in the name of Islam.
The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history. It is the fanatics who march. It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide.
It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave. It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honor-kill. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque.
It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals. It is the fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers.
The hard, quantifiable fact is that the peaceful majority, the 'silent majority,' is cowed and extraneous.
Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant.
China's huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people.
The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet.
And who can forget Rwanda, which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were 'peace loving'?

Lord Justice Thomas said Ms Patel's position "was that she was interested to understand why her late husband and the other bombers acted as they did" and that what she was seeking "was an opportunity to ask questions of witnesses at the inquest which bore on their knowledge and experience of her husband and others".
But the judge said: "Far from providing any information that might assist the wider public interest, she has flatly and unequivocally declined the opportunity to do so."
He added: "Although requested by this court to show how she could help establish why her late husband and the others whom she knew acted to murder fellow citizens, she has provided not an iota of evidence to us which could show how in some way she could bring a wider benefit let alone a significant benefit to the inquests or to the understanding of the victims of the bombing."

No Legal Aid for 7/7 bomber's widow
Can anyone imagine the sheer arrogance of this Muslima. No one in the West would ever do such a thing. I cant, for instance, imagine the wife of a Nazi in a similar situation, demanding that legal aid be given to her. Neither did any one from the IRA. Even a Nazi takes certain Western values for granted, as he/she has been brought up on it, and cannot do anything else but.
This incidence illustrates yet again, that Islam and its culture are so far removed and alien to ours, or to the West, that they may as well be from another planet - Klingon or something. I do not think we will ever live in peace again until Islam is removed from these isles.

Italy: Islam denied income tax revenue
Reason? Radical imams, polygamy and failure to uphold women's rights by Muslims immigrants are obstacles to recognising Islam as an official religion in Italy.
Rome, 27 August (AKI) - Mosques in Italy will not receive a share of income tax revenue the Italian government allocates to religious faiths each year. Hindu and Buddhist temples, Greek Orthodox churches and Jehovah's Witnesses will be eligible for the funds, according to a bill approved by the Italian cabinet in May and still must be approved by parliament.
Until now, the government had earmarked 8 percent of income tax revenue for Italy's established churches. The great majority of these funds go to the Catholic Church, although if they wish, individual tax payers may elect to give the money to charities and cultural projects instead.
The head of COREIS, one of Italy's largest Muslim groups, Yahya Pallavicini, said he was bitter that Islam had been denied the revenue from Italian income tax.
"Work should be begun on legally recognising those moderate Muslims who have for years shown themselves to be reliable interlocutors who are free of and fundamentalist ideology," he said.
Islam is not an established religion in Italy and there is only one official mosque in the country, Rome's Grand Mosque (photo). Politicians from the ruling coalition cite radical imams, polygamy and failure to uphold women's rights by Muslims immigrants as obstacles to recognising Islam as an official religion in Italy.
Until now, only the Catholic Church, Judaism and other established churches including Lutherans, Evangelists, Waldensians and 7th-day Adventists have received the income tax revenue from the Itallain government.
There are between one million and 1.5 million Muslims in Italy and 130 mosques linked the Muslim umbrella organisation UCOII across the country.

Atleast some countries in Europe are waking up.
Switzerland has made it illegal for mosques to have minarets - in effect, mosques in Switzerland have been castrated. This must be the ultimate insult to a male dominance political ideology such as Islam.
In Italy - burqas are banned. Anyone wearing them is subject to a on the spot fine of Eu150.Non-payment leads to arrest, till the the fine is paid + expenses. Nuns though are allowed to wear any type of habit, as they are an integral part of Italy or Europe or the West.
This is what I like about Italy. No BS PC.

I note that her solicitor is one Imran Khan, a man who foisted himself on the Lawrence family and who has made a living out of the race industry ever since. He used to be a member of the Marxist ARA. I wonder if he has been retained by Hisb ut Tahrir for this one. Either way, Imran Khan doesn't come cheap and someone has spent a lot of money on this woman so far. Guess they want it back from the British taxpayer
