This is another step in the Islamization of the UK

The supporters of all things Islamic here in the UK have stated that the Leveson inquiry into media practices have not and probably will not address the burning issue (in their view) of the way Islam is portrayed in the media.

It's unfair and biased they say, but what we must all understand is that ANY criticism of Islam in the UK is regarded as unfair by Muslims.

This means that only good things can be said about Islam, this of course would be closely monitored and any slip from this required path would immediately be pounced upon and the perpetrator would probably be stoned to death.

Here is the article

Over the past decade, a number of academic studies have indicated a worrying and disproportionate trend towards negative, distorted and even fabricated reports in media coverage of the Muslim community. Recent research at Cambridge University concludes that "a wider set of representations of Islam would signify a welcome change to reporting practices. Muslims deserve a better press than they have been given in the past decade." And according to a recent ComRes poll, one in three people in Britain today believe that the media is responsible for "whipping up a climate of fear of Islam in the UK".

The Leveson inquiry has so far failed to adequately address unfair media coverage as it relates to less prominent cases, including those relating to Muslims and Islam, focusing as it does on the impact of phone hacking on celebrities and other high-profile individuals.

An alternative inquiry is necessary to investigate what many regard as widespread and systematic discriminatory practices in reporting on Muslims and Islam in the British media. Victims – whether prominent or not – of alleged discriminatory media coverage have a right to have their testimonies catalogued and examined thoroughly by credible, independent assessors. Recommendations can then be made to improve ethical standards in the reporting of not solely the Muslim community but of all sections of society.

End

Well there they are folks, there are some very interesting totally nondescript people in that list - Mozzam Begg - he's a terrorist.

Bianca Jagger - what on Earth has she ever done that has benefited any society, and then there's "baroness" uddin - enough said, all the usual suspects are on the list and they all have one thing in common, they want to reduce the freedom of speech even further in the UK.

The above list contains many useful idiots to the Islamic cause - Jemima Khan springs to mind, I don't think she can spell "Islam" then again I could be wrong.

If this group is successful in it's venture and the reporting of Islamic activities is forced to change and only reflect what Islam perceives as "good" what could we expect to see in our free and open media, could it be something like this.

"At the Royal Courts of Justice in London 27 Muslim males were praised for the care and attention they gave to dozens of young girls that they abducted and groomed for sex and prostitution, the men took care that the young girls were not over abused by their friends, and indeed they even let the girls go home, such was their benevolence that the men even drove around the town to find the girls and give them a lift.

In passing sentence Judge D Mentia  stated that the men will all have to serve a community sentence and do voluntary work in the local girls school"

This is another step in the  process of Islamization of the UK, raising Islam above any criticism or scrutiny, indeed making any such criticism a greater crime than it already is.
